About the game
Six small mysteries set in a fishing town we made up after a very wet weekend on the coast. Everything is drawn in ink first and coloured after. Gullhaven is a sleepy harbour town drawn like an inked comic, and something keeps going missing. Sergeant Odile Marsh needs a sharp pair of eyes for six cases: a stolen bell, salt in the bakery sugar, a forged lighthouse chart, a missing cat, a loosened rudder and a violinist who vanished before the concert. Search 12 detailed scenes for things on your list, from teacups to tackle boxes. There is no timer, but quick finds score a bonus and stray taps cost points. Some finds are clues: dust a fingerprint, measure a shoe print, match a scrap of cloth, read a punched ticket, focus a microscope or piece a torn note back together. Every result is a fact about the culprit. Pin the facts up on the deduction board, cross off the suspects they rule out and accuse the one who is left. Guess wrong and you lose a star, and the sergeant explains which fact cleared them. Replays shuffle every scene, so there is always something new to spot.
How to play
Tap or click the things on the list when you spot them in the picture. Pinch, scroll or use the + and - buttons to zoom, and drag to look around. The hint button circles one thing and refills over time. Things tagged Clue go to the evidence desk, where a short test turns each one into a fact. On the deduction board, cross off suspects the facts rule out, then accuse the culprit. Escape pauses. Keyboard: arrow keys pan, Enter taps the centre ring.
