About the game
Arcade de noche. A neon highway and the near-miss combo I couldn't stop chasing. Skim the traffic, don't touch it. Nightline is an endless traffic racer on night highways. Your car speeds up on its own; you weave between lanes of cars, vans, trucks and buses. Pass close at speed for a near miss: chain them into a combo multiplier, fill the nitro meter and fire it for a burst of speed. One crash ends the run, and you see it again in a slow-motion replay. Score comes from distance, with a bonus for every km/h above 100. Traffic gets denser the further you go, and drivers flash their indicators before they move over, so watch for blinking lights. Sometimes a whole convoy of trucks or buses changes lanes together. Play one-way, two-way (drive in the oncoming lanes for double points) or time attack, where checkpoints add time to the clock. Your longest run unlocks new roads: the City ring road, Harbour bridge, Tunnel run and Mountain pass, each with its own traffic. Three daily missions add bonus cash. Spend your cash in the garage on eight cars, from the little Pip to the Phantom, on speed, handling, brakes and nitro upgrades, and on paint colours. Switch between a chase camera and a bumper camera at any time.
How to play
Your car accelerates on its own. Steer with A and D or the left and right arrows, hold S or the down arrow to brake, and press Space to fire the nitro when the meter is full. Near misses fill the nitro and build your combo. C switches the camera, M mutes and Escape pauses. On touch screens, hold the left or right half of the screen to steer (or switch to arrow buttons in Settings), and use the Brake and Nitro buttons.
