About the game
I drew every drawer, cushion and cupboard, my brother made them open. The rule was that nothing is just lying around, it all hides behind something. Rummage Room is a hidden-object game you play with your hands, not just your eyes. Nothing sits in plain sight for long: the items on your list are tucked inside drawers, under cushions, behind curtains, in boxes, under rugs, among plant leaves and between books. Tap furniture to move it and see what turns up. The list shows each item as a shadow, so you know the shape you are looking for. Some spots need a tool. Find the key to open padlocks, the torch to light up dark cupboards and the magnet to pull things up through floor grates. The tools are hidden in the room too. There are 24 rooms across four homes: a Beach hut, Gran's attic, a Night train and a Treehouse, with 188 things to find. Each room shuffles where things hide every time you replay it. Earn three stars by searching without hints and grabbing as few wrong things as possible. A hint lights up the next spot to search and refills after a short wait. Drag to look around, pinch or use the zoom button for a closer look. Rooms open one after another, and your progress is saved.
How to play
Tap or click furniture to open, lift or move it and look behind it. Tap an item from your list to collect it; the list shows each one as a shadow. Tools hide in the room too: tap a tool in your belt, then tap the padlock, dark cupboard or grate it opens. Grabbing things not on the list and using hints cost stars. Drag to look around, pinch or use the zoom button. Keyboard: arrow keys move the pointer, Enter taps, [ and ] jump between things, 1 to 3 pick a tool, H hint, Z zoom, Escape pauses.
